In terms of "promoting" the site, i.e., sharing that it exists at various BG fansite forums and seeking content submissions and feedback, etc., I've held off going to places like Sorcerers Place, Game Banshee, Bioware, et al, until I feel that the site is developed enough. I first want to get the following a little more fleshed out: - Combat/Tactics section featuring around half a dozen basic tactical approaches to the game
- maybe a good half dozen Fave PC Builds
- a couple more of players' standout MP Custom Parties (which needs a stonger tie-in with the Black Pits)
- portrait packs
- soundsets
- BG: The Wide's own guide to playing each BG1 NPC, both tactically and in terms of which other NPCs they may have a strong synergy with
- BG related You Tube videos on a BG: The Wide You Tube channel
- A blog that lists all BG mods and allows up to 200 of them to be rated
But all that is going to take a while. And I'm wondering if maybe I should just go ahead and say hello at those sites, seeking feedback and submissions for such things as favorite PC Builds, RP concepts, tactical approaches, and so forth... Do you think I have enough content already to start visiting other sites and getting the word out about BG: The Wide?
